A path leads to the destination – the Tyrolean Adlerweg ends in St. Anton am Arlberg

Over multicoloured flower-filled meadows, past luscious green alpine pastures and alongside glistening mountainous lakes – the Adlerweg extends over 280 kilometres from St. Johann in the Tyrolean lowlands through the Rofan and Karwendel mountains, before it finally ends in St. Anton am Arlberg. St. Anton is an El Dorado for skiers and snowboards in winter and offers perfect conditions for hiking and trekking, for relaxation and recuperation in summer.

One of the numerous options and a highlight for all nature lovers and those with a thirst for exercise is the Adlerweg, which leads into the very thick of the alpine world, with its very varied flora and fauna.

A clearly arranged signage system along the entire Adlerweg informs you about destination and route, distance, hiking time and degree of difficulty. Each of the 24 stages along the main route contains special attractions and highlights, as well as offering you the chance to discover Tyrol’s landscape, history and tradition.

By the way, St. Anton’s entire path network has been awarded the Province of Tyrol’s hiking seal of approval. So, use your holiday in St. Anton am Arlberg to discover a stage of the Adlerweg and, with a bit of luck, an eagle may even accompany you on your travels.
